The concert’s proceeds will assist scripture programs at Murrumburrah Public and High schools as well as youth ministry in our town.
This concert features several local artists, namely Julie O’Connor, soprano, Peter O’Connor, tenor, Stewart Bruce on piano and the popular harmony vocal group Counterpoint.
The program will include a wide variety of music from popular musicals, folk songs, light classical, traditional and some fun songs.
Stewart will break the vocal items with a couple of short piano solos by Aussie composers. “Can’t Help Lovin’ Dat Man” will be a great opener while “Nessun Dorma” and “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” are sure to be very entertaining.
After the concert, a lovely afternoon tea will be provided. Entry at the door will be $10 per person and this includes the entertainment and afternoon tea.
The event is hosted by the Murrumburrah-Harden Combined Churches Youth Ministry Group. If you can’t make it, a donation towards youth ministry would be much appreciated.
