“I was sitting in the dining room one day, I looked up and saw Roslyn taking a tour of the facility.” Mr Lawrence said. “I took one look at her and thought ‘that’s the girl for me!’, but I was too slow and she finished her tour and was gone. I thought I missed my chance.”
Roslyn moved in to the facility a few weeks later and met Colin and the attraction was mutual. The couple married last Friday, September 8 at the facility.
“We became friends first and then the friendship turned to love and here we are!” the bride said. “I never thought I would marry again, especially at this stage of my life, but when something or someone wonderful comes into your life, you don’t waste time!”
“We would like to thank the staff here at St Lawrence,” Mrs Lawrence said. “They did a wonderful job making our wedding beautiful, especially Shelley Gledhill and Robyn Carroll.”
The Harden Express would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Mr and Mrs Lawrence on their marriage and wish them many happy years together.
