This event has an exciting guest speaker in Ben Stocks who, along with his wife Irene, back-packed to heights of over 17,000 feet (5,150 metres) without oxygen aids as part of their travels to South America.
Ben is keen to share their amazing experiences and says that he and Irene like visiting remote and natural areas which provide challenges and adventure.
In South America, Ben and Irene visited Lima, the capital of Peru which, apart from recently, has had no rain at all since the 1970’s. How’s that for a drought!
Ben’s talk will focus on the unusual and out-of- the-way experiences.
The Men’s Breakfast is open to all men of the district. The full cooked breakfast and talk is just $15 payable at the door. The venue is warm and air-conditioned.
To assist with catering, reservations should be made with Neville Alcorn on 6386 2157 or Rev David Rajasekaram on 6386 2679 on or before Wednesday, August 16.
