The day of re-enactments and community activities recognises the bravery of Sergeant Parry who was shot by bushranger John Gilbert in a gun battle with the Hall Gang on November 16, 1864 at Jugiong.
The legend centres around one of Australia's most violent periods on the New South Wales goldfields.
A final schedule of events is yet to be finalised, however is likely to include a food and wine showcase from the local region, musical talent plus the main event, a re-enactment of the battle.
An opportunity to experience life on the goldfields up close and personal, Harden residents are invited to save the date and make their way out for a fun day.
