Sydney Royal Easter Show: tickets now on sale

The annual event will run from April 6-17 as it brings the bush to the big smoke, and this year promises to be the biggest and best yet.

There will be hundreds of rides and games on offer, on Australia Avenue you'll find wild rides for thrill seekers, including the epic Rebel Coaster, Cliff Hanger and Aviator.

There's also plenty on offer for the little ones in the Kids Carnival, with all the classic rides returning including the carousel, super slide, tea cups and the mini chairs.

There will be around 14,000 animals at the show - from the cute and cuddly through to the prize winners. Animal Walk will be back, so too will judging of the best of the best in dogs, cats, cows, horses and more.

Early bird tickets are available online from February 9 until midnight on April 5 and daily tickets are limited.

Sydney Royal Easter Show was first held in 1823, and it is Australia's largest annual ticketed event, attracting an average of 828,000 people each year.
