Once a year, Harden Country Club enjoys the mysteries of par golf.
No other competition divides the club than this old world classic event of pluses, minuses and squares scored as circles. While not rewarding exceptional scoring, it can be quite a strategic event if played to its divisive best.
Old world classics call on old world Masters. This disciple got to co-mark the card of the winner in Grasshopper Ronnie Page.
Surging late and with a sting in his tail to drop the ever consistent Kevin Hoppe, Page powered away with a rock solid +3 to claim the Country Club Trophy.
Subsequent to the Prime Minister's statement on Tuesday, organised golf competitions of 10 people are now cancelled.
Accordingly, Harden Country Club is now suspending organised club competition.
The course will remain open and members are encouraged to observe social distancing, which is strongly encouraged at group size's maximum of four, no touching flags or other player's equipment and no more than one player per cart unless family.
