Played at Roberts Park, the Hawks edged the Storm 24-18 in a tight pre-season clash.
While the men enjoyed a victory, Harden's ladies' tackle side showed plenty of promise however went down to the visitors in a tough hit-out.
The day was also used a fundraiser for the Salway and Ainsworth families who were severely affected by the bushfires on the South Coast.
President of the club Jason Pollard said all proceeds will be shared the families.

Meanwhile, Pollard said he was waiting to here from Canberra Rugby League regarding this year's George Tooke Shied competition.
He said they would take advice from NSWRL and Canberra Rugby League.
"We don't know yet. We have received some emails about personal hygiene. There are some rumours that the season will be pushed back but we don't know at the moment," he said.
Round one of the competitions is scheduled for Saturday, April 18.
