Police from Harden stopped the 60-year-old man driving a red Toyota about 5.10pm on Monday, March 2.
He returned a positive reading to a breath test and later register a mid-range reading of .142.
Police inquiries revealed the man was driving an unregistered, uninsured vehicle and his driver's licence was allegedly cancelled.
He's facing charges of use unregistered vehicle, use uninsured vehicle, fail to return number plates after registration cancelled, drive with mid-range PCA and drive while licence cancelled (second and subsequent offence).
He will appear before Young Local Court on March 11.
