Although she did not progress to the next stage of the competition, Miss Manton said her experience as the Harden-Murrumburrah Showgirl has been 'unreal'.
"I have learnt a lot about myself and my community over the last six months," Miss Manton said.
"Representing Harden at the Zone titles in Dubbo on the 22nd of February was an absolute privilege."
At the Zone level judging, Miss Manton joined the other Showgirls from Zone 6 at a luncheon where they were able to develop their networking skills as well as meet the judges.
Miss Manton said that the showgirls each had an interview with the judges, with her's taking place later in the afternoon.
The last event of the day was a formal dinner, where the showgirls were asked to answer three questions on stage.
"The on stage interview was completely out of my comfort zone and something I have never done before, however, in saying that, it was a fantastic experience and I learnt so much about myself," Miss Manton said.
"This opportunity has provided me with skills I never thought I had."
Bathurst Showgirl Stephanie Ferguson, Blayney Showgirl Sally Nicholls and Cowra Showgirl Beatrice Patterson were selected as the three finalists to move on to the next stage of the competition at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
Miss Manton said that while she did not make it through to the next level, she was able to represent our small community and give Harden-Murrumburrah a voice.
"I was able to do so by speaking to girls from much larger communities and networking with various people," she said.
"I have gained friends for life and I have gained so much knowledge from all the people I spoke to on the night."
Miss Manton said she would like to thank her family for supporting her on the night and throughout the process.
Along with her family, Miss Manton said she would like to thank Linda and Harvey Jones for helping to prepare her for the Zone competition.
"I would also like to thank Andrew Jones, Sarah Jones, Darren Sargent and Robynn Sargent for attending the dinner in support of myself."
Although she did not make it through to the next round of Miss Showgirl competition, Miss Manton said she is planning to work closely with the Harden Show committee for 2020.
"My advice for all girls between 18 and 25 that have the slightest interest in running for Harden-Murrumburrah Showgirl for 2020 is, go for it," Miss Manton said.
"You will meet like-minded women who have similar aspirations and goals in life as you do. You will learn so much about yourself and develop your confidence, public speaking and personal qualities to a maximum."
Miss Manton said being a Harden-Murrumburrah Showgirl is a great opportunity that participants will gain so much from.
"I urge young females with an aspiration for their community to contact me and find out what is involved."
