With the big picture events done and dusted for the year and a handicap quietly languishing from not the best autumn of golf, the wee Scotsman has decided it was time to pounce.

And pounce he did !!
Tam Kennedy has come out and put together a blinder for last weekend's Club Trophy Stableford, blitzing his opposition en masse by four whole points/shots.
Tam recorded a round of 42 points in conditions that assist his game style of working and bumping the golf ball around (almost Links style) and won the day's event.
Well done to Tam on the win.
It will probably mean he starts the summer dissipation of his inflated winter handicap.
So the field then got to share the ball competition.
Three men were four points back of Mr Kennedy and they all got paid a ball for their efforts.
These included Michael Baldry, Darrell Cassidy and Kevin Hoppe, proving a mere two shots better than your handicap was not enough last weekend.
Peter Orr back In the frame midweek
Proving a long while between drinks, young Mr Orr has presented first past the post last week in the midweek comp.
On the par 24 point, 12 hole layout, Peter has come out and beaten that by a mere 5 shots and posted 29 Stableford points.
This has led to a timely smashing of Peter's handicap from 26 back to 21, which will lead to some hard work required to claim another weekly event before Christmas. Runner-up this week was golf-a-holic Jacqui Solah with a most impressive round of 28 points and 4 shots better than her handicap.
Jim Wright was third a further 1 point back of Jacqui. Great scoring by all three.
This week
Whilst on Saturday, an all-comers Club Stableford will be held from lunchtime, the real noise needs to be about Sunday. This Sunday at Temora commences our defence of the Scott Fuller Shield.
Time sheets are at the bar and with a few absent, we will need a strong showing to get some travel points. Even a bus is being mooted so get in to the club, get your names down and express some interest to make this a Sunday to remember.
