Students from Harden Murrumburrah, Jugiong, Young and Cootamundra are busily preparing for their upcoming concert, aptly titled 'You're The Voice'.
Ms Ryan has been singing and performing since the age of three and teaching for the last 18 years.
"I was encouraged to teach singing by (Cootamundra dance teacher) Chris Edwards." Ms Ryan said.
"When she first suggested I teach, i thought 'no way, I can't do that!', but she was gently persistent and I am very grateful that she was."
Ms Ryan said that it has been a very busy year and that it has only just started to hit her that her teaching life is coming to an end.
"Sometimes, you just have to take that leap of faith and step outside your comfort zone and try something different." Ms Ryan said.
"I have spent a lot of time this year cataloging my music, so that if, down the track, I decide to come back to teaching, everything is ready. I will miss my students, it is such a gift to see them develop their talents and growing confidence. I have become close to them all."
'You're the Voice will be held at the Cootamundra Country Club, and will showcase the talents of twenty of her students, covering a wide range of genres.
Performances will be held on Friday, September 27 and Saturday, September 28 at 7pm, cost $35 and concessions $30. Matinee performance on Saturday, September 28, at 1pm, cost $30 and concessions $25.
Entry includes finger food. Tickets are available at the Cootamundra Country Club, phone 6942 1330.
