THE Harden Automotive & Mobile Meats under 6s Hawks travelled over to Young to play the rival Cherry Pickers and they were outstanding, the boys have shown great improvement from the start of the season, their defence is leaps and bounds compared to the start of the year and their offence is electric.

Archie Potts and Riley Murray showed off some of their best football skills on the day both crossing for hat-tricks.
Beau Manwaring was making the opposition shake in their boots with some of the tackles he was making.
One even left coach Dylan Potts speechless.
Trevor Loader was running strong and wasn't afraid to take on much bigger fellas in defence.
Noah Ward was using his impressive speed to his advantage getting to the edge of the field and then beating the other kids in a footrace.
Liam Beal was also very explosive with his runs and was awesome in defence.
Cooper Martin showed great courage through the middle and wasn't afraid to do the hard yards.
Then finally Harry Smith, Harry had perhaps the try of the game as he ran right through the Pickers' defence showing brutal strength and blazing speed.
The young Hawks had a great week and are all very excited for next week.

The Boorowa/Harden Bendigo Bank under 10s played against Young on the weekend, it was a very tough match, and unfortunately the boys went down 34-26.
This week's captain was Preston Harris, who made some good in roads through the centre.

Our try scorers were Jackson Karchinsky (1), Jayden Steele (2) and Roy Whybrow (1).
Conversions went to Dan Minehan, Lewis Shea and Jayden Steele.
There was some great attack moves from the boys which saw an exciting start to the match.
A standout was Sam Manwaring who had a solid game, making plenty of meters running through gaps keeping the defence guessing.
This week the boys will be working hard in training to improve our defensive line in preparation for this week's game against Cootamundra.
This week we host one of our close neighbours in the Cootamundra Bulldogs, so if you need something to do on Saturday morning come down and watch the future Hawks play. Games kick off at 9am.
