Organiser Ann Witty said that the group is the last of it's kind in the Canberra and Goulburn Parish
"The ladies in our group age from 79 to 92." Mrs Witty said. "So we are always on the lookout for younger women to join us. We operate these functions to raise money to repair and maintain our Church hall."
In the past couple of years the ladies have managed to pay for a new hot water service, air conditioner, trestle tables and new chairs for the hall.
The morning tea will cost $10 per person for a delicious array of sandwiches, slices, scones, tea and coffee.
"We always have a theme for our morning teas, and this time we are asking for everyone to bring or wear a piece of jewelry that has some meaning to them." Mrs Witty said.
"It could be something that belonged to someone in their family, or something they have bought themselves, just a memory to share."
