Holy Land will be guest speaker at the next Combined Churches Men’s
Breakfast.
The breakfast is set down for Saturday, 23rd February in the Uniting
Church Hall (air-conditioned), Binalong Street, Harden, 8.00-10.00 am.
Sue Orchison, who is an iconographer with works displayed in many
churches, cathedrals, schools and private homes across Australia, will
speak about her experiences of day-to-day living in Bethlehem while
undertaking an icon course there last year. Her husband Geoff, who
spent a couple of months with her in the Holy Land, will also reflect on
their travels and the people they met.
Their talk with be accompanied by a series of slides and participants
will be able to engage in discussion with Sue and Geoff during their
presentation.
In a departure from previous breakfasts, women of the district are
invited to attend and, in particular, hear Sue speak.
Cost is $15 for a full cooked breakfast, and payable at the door.
