While we have looked at the three old LEPs and compared them, there are a lot of areas that vary because of what each of these councils were trying to achieve. We will be looking very closely at these differences to achieve the best outcome for our new shire. This precinct has changed dramatically over the last few years with the increasing tourism trade and the businesses should be congratulated for what they have done together to achieve this.
A big congratulations to the Kite Festival committee for a very successful day, who would have thought that the crowd would double? Thanks to council staff for their quick action in handling the large traffic problems.
