One of our big feature players from last year’s summer season was Ron Kerr and it would appear he has brought that form forward to this year racking up a good tally and claiming the goodies last Saturday.
Ron has put together a stableford round of 39 points which is three better than his handicap in what looks to have been more balanced scoring this week.
Ron has snuck past John Brownhill who, with his summer shirts, is walking the walk with 38 points.
John is just getting warmed up about helping to defend the SWDGA Pennant this year, and his form is coming along nicely.
John led the ball comp with his 38 points.
Balls were also claimed by Robert Bates, 36, Ron Page (our birthday boy for January – 35 points), and Matt Peisley also on 35.
Our nearest the pin on the Bendigo Bank Hole in One Hole was Rick Preston, who, at 1.68m from the pin, could not be beaten.
