Tree Planting
During Education Week 14 mature, deciduous trees were planted in the playground. The class representatives planted a Golden Ash at the K-2 school entrance. Mrs Jules Lenehan and Mr Simon Glover planted the other trees despite the very cold and wet conditions.
Supporting our School Spectacular students
Later this year 13 of our dance students will be a part of School Spectacular, which showcases the performance talents of students attending NSW Public Schools.
The participating students recently held a successful wood raffle, which was won by Chris Woods. We are currently running another raffle and the prize is a load of firewood delivered to your door.
We are hoping that the School Spectacular experience will be ongoing in coming years allowing more students to enjoy and participate in this wonderful event.
Thank you to a great team!
At the recent movie night a group of hardworking parents donated their time and expertise, making bacon and egg rolls for those in attendance. I would like to thank coordinator Kellie Abnett, Felicity Manwaring, Phillip Woodhead, Nicki Danassis, Clare Challen,Cindy West, Maddie Emms, Taleah Manwaring and Ruby Woodhead. A contribution was made by SFM Spreading who donated 60 bread rolls from Jacksons Bakery and Julie Dunstan who donated 4 dozen eggs.
