In A grade (Trigg Shield) Yass Golf Club host Bookham Bulls at Victoria Park, Royal Pirates head to Bowning to take on the Buffaloes and Boorowa have the home ground advantage against Soldiers Club Snipers, while Harden has the bye.
Just the two games in B grade (Sweeney Cup) now that the second tier competition was split after the Christmas and New Year break.
In a do-or-die match on the turf at Tim Doolan Oval, the Harden Hornets will need to win their encounter with Gundaroo Gunners and Dalton Dingoes will be hoping to put in a good performance at home against Murrumbateman, while the Yass Golf Club Taipans have the bye. These games also start at 12.30pm.
In C grade (Yass Soldiers Club) the Royal Pirates meet Yass Golf Club Colts at O'Connor Park and Soldiers Club lock horns with Boorowa at Bookham Oval and Binalong have the bye.
In other exciting cricket news, the YDCA Yabbles representative team have made it through to the Stribley Shield Final to be held in Wagga Wagga on Sunday, February 7.
Meanwhile the YDCA senior representative team charged into the final of the Stribley Shield with a comprehensive 8 wicket away win over Gundagai. After dismissing the home side for 85 the 'Yabbies' easily reached the total with Dave Field leading the way with 44no.
Wagga finished on top of the ladder and will host the final against Yass on Sunday 7 February.
