A snake wrangler has found the world's second-deadliest snake curled up in the couch of a Sunshine Coast home.
The video shows the catcher's shock discovery, as he lifts up the couch to find that his slithery friend is a highly venomous Eastern Brown snake.
"F*** me! You are kidding," he said. "No way, look at that!"
Eastern Browns are common in the bushland and sand dunes throughout most of the Sunshine Coast but were not regularly found in peoples' couches.

The wrangler holds it by the tail as he proceeds to coax it out from a safe distance with the help of a snake hook.
He shows the snake to the camera and says: "No way, that is just unbelievable! That was in a couch, we almost gave up thinking it's moved on or something," he said.
He then released the snake into the wild.
"That is one of the craziest catches I've definitely been involved with," he said.
