Emergency services including Yass police, highway patrol, Rural Fire Service, NSW ambulance paramedics and Binalong volunteer rescue personnel, responded to the incident at the intersection of Burley Griffin Way and Fitzroy Street about 4.40pm.
Police say the 65-year-old woman, who was driving a black Mitsubishi Lancer, failed to give way and crashed into a Kenworth Prime Mover.
She suffered neck pain and soreness and was taken to Yass Hospital for further assessment.
Her vehicle was towed from the scene.
The injured driver will be infringed for not giving way, police say.
