Council released a statement on Monday afternoon saying sports training and personal training will be allowed from June 1, and skateparks and public toilets are now open for the public.
All sports training and personal training must be conducted in accordance with public health orders, which, at the moment, includes training in maximum groups of 10 people and following the recommended physical distancing measures of 1.5 metres.
Groups of 10 includes the trainer or coach.
Skateparks have been opened across the local government area, however there is still no more than 10 people allowed in any park at one time.
People must only use their own equipment in each of the mentioned activities.
Council has also reopened all public toilets across the region from Tuesday, May 26.
Libraries and visitor information centres will be reopening to the public on Monday, June 1. Each library and visitor centre will have hand sanitising stations, sneeze guards, social distancing markers and signage.
Staff will be limiting the number of visitors allowed in each facility.
Libraries will be enforcing 24 hour quarantine of returned items.
"We thank sporting groups and the wider community for their patience during the time they have been unable to utilise our facilities. I encourage everyone including coaches and personal trainers to familiarise themselves with current guidelines and ensure they are being met at all times," Hilltops council's general manager Anthony O'Reilly said.
