While Year 12 students were welcomed back to the classroom every day this week many schools are welcoming students back one day a week.
At Jugiong Public School the K-2 class had face to face learning on Tuesday, while the year 3 - 6 children will be having their face to face learning day on Thursday.
"The number of children in a room on any day will be limited to 10, as per Department of Education guidelines," Jugiong principal Deborah Main said.
Families are encouraged to keep their child(ren) at home for the rest of the week, wherever possible.
However the school is still open during the week for children of essential workers.
"I would like to reassure families that our school is being thoroughly cleaned each day," Ms Main said in this week's newsletter to parents.
"Enhanced cleaning processes are in place on top of normal before/after school cleaning.
"We have also received our critical supply packages.
"These packages contained essential hygiene items including soap, paper towels, disinfectant sprays and wipes, toilet paper and hand sanitiser," she said.
