Banquet Dynasty took out the South West Credit Union Stakes (347m) edging out kennelmate Bender Banquet in a tight finish stopping the clock in a slick 20.83s.

The result was Banquet Dynasty's 13th win in start 54 and continues a good run of form for the three-year-old who has won two races from her last three outings.

In other races, two trainers finished with winning doubles.

Jerrawa-based trainer Gregory Katon enjoyed two wins with Smooth Pearl and Sparky Parker respectively.

Smooth Pearl was proved superior in the Young Hotel Stakes (347m) winning by two-lengths to record a winning time of 20.51s.

Sparky Parker beat home his kennelmate Won Jack as Katon recorded a quinella in the Nick Apps Earthmoving Stakes.

Meanwhile greyhound trainers across the region are bracing themselves for the impact of reduced opportunities to race after Greyhound Racing NSW introduced strict new measures to address the coronavirus crisis.

Under the protocols trainers will only be allowed to race at their zoned region, with Wagga the only Riverina venue where racing will occur.

It is understood negotiations are continuing for Riverina dogs to be able to compete at Goulburn given there will only be two Wagga meetings in April.

Sunday's scheduled meeting at Temora has been scrapped, while racing will take place at Wagga on Sunday, April 12 and April 26.

Wagga's meeting on Sunday proceeded without any crowds, and from now on no more than 50 participants will be allowed at venues.

Racing at premier track Wentworth Park has also been suspended for the immediate future.

Other region's venues are Bathurst, Bulli, Dapto, Dubbo, Richmond, Grafton, The Gardens (Newcastle), Goulburn, Gunnedah.
