A special event is planned at the pool for next Monday, February 24 in memory of Lexie Adam and in support of the Starlight Super Swim.
Members of the Harden Swimming Club and the wider community have been taking part in the Starlight Super Swim, swimming laps to help raise funds for sick kids.
Every minute of every day a sick child is admitted into hospital in Australia.
By taking part in the Super Swim, which ends next Monday, you too can go the distance and fundraise for sick kids.
Some Harden residents have been taking part swimming in memory of Lexie Adam who passed away last February and was a member of the Harden Swim Club.
Next Monday an event will be held at the pool where you can enjoy a swim and a bacon and egg sandwich for a gold coin donation with all money raised being spilt between the swimmers taking part in the Starlight Super Swim.
As much as this event is in support of our swimmers, it is also a time to come together as a community to support one another as the town approaches the one year anniversary since losing "our ray of sunshine".
"Please show your support as we watch the sunrise, grab a bacon and egg sandwich and honour the life of our Lexie," organiser Maddie Emms said on social media.
The events starts at 6am.
If you join in this week you can still make a significant difference.
