Jugiong Rural Fire Service captain Kevin Fairall said the brigade, as well as members from Coolac Rural Fire Service and NSW Ambulance attended the scene.
The brigade received the callout at 5am and remained on the scene for approximately 90 minutes offering assistance and directing traffic.
The right hand lane of the Hume Highway, approximately 7km north of Jugiong, was closed during that time.
The truck, which was carrying sound equipment, was travelling from Melbourne to Canberra and had to be towed from the scene.
