Batting first the Club House Horns put on a very respectable 162 from 40 overs.
The target may just have been enough if not for the batting performance of one Hornet, James Woodhead who anchored the Hornets innings with a fine 88 as wickets continuously fell around him.
His opening partner Kai Steele was bowled for 10 and Nathan Anderson was run out on just two.
There was a little resistance in the middle order from Shane Abnett (15) and Jeff Brown (13) before Ben Davis added three runs to the total and Jonathon and Jack Nicholls added three and five runs respectively to the scoreline to see Hornets finished on top at 6/164 passing the target in 29 overs.
In this weekend's C Grade match the Harden Bowling Club takes on Yass Golf Club Taipans at Roberts Park.
The Club House Horns take on Binalong Bushrangers at O'Connor Park.
