About 7.30pm on Monday, January 13 police attended Binalong Street, Harden regarding a domestic dispute.
Upon arrival police were informed of allegations that a 29-year-old man of Stockinbingal had threatened and assaulted a person and damaged property.
When police attempted to arrest the man, it is alleged that he resisted arrest and after being warned, he was sprayed with OC spray.
Cootamundra police assisted Young police and the man was arrested and taken to Cootamundra Police Station. He was charged with the offences of resist officer in the execution of duty, malicious damage and common assault. He will appear before Cootamundra Local Court on February 3, 2020.
