Dorothy is turning 90 and her family is bringing her back to Harden-Murrumburrah to mark the occasion.
Her many friends are invited to be with her to celebrate her special day.
Dorothy currently lives with her son David in Sydney, but wants to celebrate her birthday back in what was her home town for so many years.
Her family want to make sure the day is a very special one for their much loved Dorothy.
"Although now living with my wife and I in Sydney, my mother spent most of her years in Harden-Murrumburrah," her son David said.
"So we're planning a gathering in the town for her 90th.
"We don't want to overlook people who'd like to be part of it, but need to get catering fixed.
"Mum would like to celebrate with friends from the Harden-Murrumburrah area and we want to include everyone who knows her and would like to come," David said.
The family are planning a lunchtime gathering in town on Sunday, February 16.
There's also a Sydney gathering on Saturday, February 8, for anyone who would like to be there.
Anyone wanting to attend either celebration should contact David Powell at david@powell-au.net or 0438 122 283 as soon as possible to get an invitation.
If you or someone you know is celebrating a birthday or anniversary, we would like to know.
