Ron and Robyn Hampton were out in the front yard of their Swift Street hme on Sunday, when they noticed an odd shaped branch on one of their garden shrubs.

Upon closer inspection, they discovered that the 'odd shaped branch' was actually a beehive.
"It had not been there on Saturday afternoon when we were in the garden." Mrs Hampton said
"I was amazed that they could have built such a large structure in such a short period of time."
The Hamptons called an expert, Ken Tanson from Harden's House of Honey, who arrived at the property soon after.
"Sometimes the queen will move the hive when it becomes overcrowded." Mr Tanson said.
"I have removed hives from all over Harden Murrumburrah; sometimes even from inside people's homes."
Mr Tanson quickly cut the bush branch containing the hive and placed it in a 'swarm box', returning after dark to remove it. He suggested never trying to remove a hive yourself, always call an apiarist.
