The exhibition is a fundraising event and all proceeds will go to the maintenance and repair of the historic St John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Jugiong.
The cocktail party will open the weekend on Friday, November 22, commencing at 7pm. Tickets are available at $45 per person.
The featured artist for this exhibition is incredibly talented artist, Kyah Wilson from Dubbo.
Ms Wilson says her art is an amalgamation of original, mixed media pieces, inspired by colour, design and the quintessential Australian lifestyle.
"My pieces evoke a sense of timelessness and sometimes quirkiness," Ms Wilson said.
One of the main aims of this exhibition is to showcase many different styles of artworks, depicting traditional and contemporary styles and subject matters.
This year there will be several workshops run by local artists Karen Walsh, Jennie Forster, Al Phemister, Penny Kerr, Stephanie Corkhill Hyles, Brian Allen and Tricia Wimpenny.
These workshops vary from ceramics, soapstone, wire, acrylic and mixed media paint, willow weaving and art/wellbeing and are held at an array of venues.
You will find all the details and bookings can be made on our website: http://www.jugiongartexhibition.com/workshops/
Younger local artists will also be included and will have their own exhibition space in the front foyer of the hall. This is great adventure for all the children involved, as it will showcase their work in an exhibition space and atmosphere.
These young artists will take part in a workshop, conducted prior to the exhibition, to introduce them to other mediums and techniques.
