A trial will be run at the next Handmade in Harden Murrumburrah Community markets, where the markets will combine with the very popular Whichcraft, who will allow stallholders to set up in their yard.
"The October markets will be a trial, because of the Festival of Art." Market Manager Nicole Scott said.
"We normally have stalls booked throughout the building, but we can't this month, as it is too much of a risk with the artwork."
Ms Scott said that if the community feedback is good, and everything goes well with the combined market, it may become a continuing partnership.
"We think it will work well, combining with Whichcraft." Ms Scott said.
"Visitors to the markets, especially this month, can visit the markets, check out all the beautiful locally produced art, and wander through Whichcraft as well. We are looking at setting up around seven or eight stalls in Whichcraft's yard."
Another new idea that the Handmade in Harden Murrumburrah Community Markets are looking to trial is a 'Twilight Market' for the hotter summer months.
"We have been considering running the markets on a Sunday evening over Summer." Ms Scott said.
"We would like to hear the community's thoughts on this one."
