The Harden District Picnic Race Club committee are pleased to welcome Simone Ward from Homestead Style and Botanica Romantica in Harden and Alison Foreman, from Label A boutique in Young on board as judges for the 2019 Harden Picnic Races Fashions on the Field.

Simone can be found in the Homestead Style fashion boutique in Harden, where she loves to help customers find stylish outfits that they adore.
"I really get a buzz out of helping people find clothes that suit them and make them feel fantastic." Simone said. "We stock a great range of classic, stylish garments from many well-known and trusted labels."
Simone has a passion for natural fibre materials, stocking beautiful cottons and linens garments for summer and wool for the winter.
Alison Foreman is the owner of Label A Clothing, Footwear Accessories in Young, supplying unique men's, women's clothing footwear that rival its city counterparts.
Alison has 20 years experience in the fashion industry and constantly seeks out new trends to satisfy customer needs.
She brings experience in judging Fashions on the Field, Debutante events and her flair for style to the task of judging at Harden.
"It's not only about what you wear but how you wear it." Alison said. "Style is a way of saying who you are without having to say a word!"
Fashions on the Field has sections for all racegoers:
Junior Racegoer; boys and girls up to 12 years of age, will be judged at approximately 2.30pm on Race Day.
Teenage Racegoer, boys and girls, for those aged between 13 and 17 years will also be judged at approximately 2.30pm on the day.
Best Dressed Couple will be judged at approximately 3pm.
Best Hat or Fascinator will also be judged at approximately 3pm.
Best Dressed Lady and Gent will be judged at approximately 3.40pm. Entry is open to all and registrations will be taken on the day.
Preparations on the track are well underway and the committee spent last Sunday cleaning and preparing the Secretary's Office for use by the Kite Festival.
"It is great that the Racecourse is now also used by the Harden Kite Festival." Picnic Race Treasurer Judy Stewart said.
"We will be holding our next working bee on Sunday, October 20, for anyone who would like to get involved."
