"It was the best experience!" youngest of the three, Jade said.
"Especially playing in the same team as Maddie and Sam. Even though we didn't win, we all did amazing to get there. We were knackered in the end."
Older sister Samantha agreed.
"This is our (Wagga Wanderers) first year playing in the NPL and playing against talent from all over NSW and the ACT." Sam said.
"The team we played, the Canberra United Academy team had been undefeated all season, so to bring the game into penalty shoot outs, was an amazing achievement."
The Wanderers are made up of girls from all over the Riverina area, who travel to Wagga to train and play.
"We have really come together and grown as a team." Samantha said.
"Even though we lost the match after 20 minutes overtime, in the penalty shoot-outs, we have achieved so much as a team."
Mum Cindy said she was so proud to see her three girls out on the field together.
"It was an amazing opportunity for the three girls to play in the one team. Maddie is 16, but Sam and Jade are 14 and 13 .We are developing some really quality players in the Riverina, and I think we really showed the Canberra teams what we are capable of."
"I would really like to thank Sibelco for sponsoring me this year." Samantha said.
"They have helped me out so much this year with the expenses associated with playing. I don't know how we could have done it without them."
Eldest sister Maddie said that she would like to thank the whole Wanderers community for making the sisters feel so welcome.
"Our coaches and the other players have been fantastic." Maddie said.
"The feeling on the field during the Grand Final was electric. The other teams all showed up to support us and we could hear them screaming for us, it was incredible."
