Friday August 16 the National Cherry Festival Supporters Sponsorship Program draw will be held on-air on radio station 2LF. All Supporter Draw ticket holders will be recognised in the National Cherry Festival program. The lucky business owner whose ticket is drawn wins a $3750 Gold Sponsorship, with naming rights to a festival event. Good luck!
Food and Wine Weekend
Invite friends back to Young for a celebration of Hilltops food and wine over an extended long weekend Thursday September 19 to Sunday September 22. Activities culminate in the Cherry Blossom Long Lazy Lunch on Sunday.
There's also a wine show dinner at Murrumburrah, a foodies' feast in Jugiong, Region Farmers Market and a foodies' night market near Young.
Woodland Exhibition
In the latest exhibition at Burrangong Gallery, guest artist Fiona Lumsden draws on her field study paintings to shine a light on the dwindling natural treasures of the South West Slopes woodlands. Fiona paints regularly near Koorawatha.
