The $269,148 upgrade was made possible by the NSW Stronger Communities Fund.
Although she was unable to attend, Member for Cootamundra, Steph Cooke sent congratulations on the project.
"I'm delighted to see this progress at Murrumburrah Showground, which is going to make an enormous difference for the community." Ms Cooke said.
"These electrical upgrades will provide a much more efficient, useful and - above all - safe power supply for users at the Showground."
As part of the project, new blue poly pipe has been laid in all cable trenches and the Showground now has a filtered rainwater supply in addition to the mains supply.
The main switchboard has been configured so that a generator can be connected, allowing the showground to act as an island and operate with it's own power and water in an emergency.
