Across the junior divisions, NSW Metro has five sides represented; three male and two female. Tyra Cooper was selected to play in the Under 14s team.
"The girls played two games on Sunday and won both." Tyra's proud aunt, Karen Glover said. "They then had to go up against Queensland, and they won that game as well."
As The Express went to print, SA Under 14s were sitting in first place, NSW Metro sit in second place, followed by Queensland.
Isobella Nitschke (SA) was leading the way after scoring 56 runs from her three games, while five wickets each from Grace Augustine and Tyra Cooper (NSW) was the benchmark with the ball.
"Needless to say, Diane Cooper is one proud grandmother and the whole family are also super proud of her." Ms Glover said.
