'We have recently introduced this program as a community wide initiative to create a range of opportunities for people living and working within our community." COO Tony Holland said.

'We are developing a strategy for young people to flourish. We have assembled a very highly skilled group of local people and have established a strong connection with 'Menslink' in Canberra, who developed the basis of the program we will be using."

There will be a development training in April, followed by the system being piloted in the early second half of this year. Another program that HRDC have introduced into the community is the 'HRDC Workplace Wellbeing Program', which aims to empower employers in the Harden Murrumburrah community to provide a program for their team that will improve individual wellbeing, increase engagement with physical and mental health care and increase levels of engagement at work.

This program is provided by HRDC at no cost to the business, as financial support is provided by a local sponsor, Blantyre Farms.

Another program the HRDC are hosting is the 'BeBOLD Business Success program that is ideal for business owners who want to look at fresh growth for their business.

This course will be offered over three nights; on Tuesday, March 26 the topic will be 'Nine steps to Business Success. Wednesday, May 1, the focus will be 'Create your one page Business Plan' and the third night, May 28 the topic will be 'Digital Fitness and Social Media Marketing.'

"This course is ideal for anyone who has a business, or who wants to start a business. There are still places available, but you will have to register soon." Mr Holland said.
