Murrumburrah Public School (MPS) has a clear focus on student achievement, whether its are settling in the new kinder students or preparing year six students for high school.
MPS offers a friendly and safe environment for its families. The school is proud of its academic, sporting and cultural achievements and works with the community to provide the best opportunities for all children.
This year 36 kinder students were welcomed to the school, who, along with other MPS students, will benefit from an expert team of highly-dedicated staff, open-learning spaces with cutting-edge technology, and a school culture that fosters respect, responsibility and empathy.
Students from kindergarten to year 6 develop leadership skills through class the representative program and Student Representative Council, which enables them to contribute to on-going school improvement.
Parents and community play a vital role too, by contributing to three-way interviews, class meetings, P&C and volunteering for fundraising, canteen and learning activities.
Together we create a dynamic learning environment where we all work together to ensure all students reach their potential.
The school is very proud of the student leadership team and look forward to their outstanding contribution to their school and community in 2019.
