Mr Medway is a partner of three successful businesses in China and realised that, for the average Australian, conducting business in China is foreign indeed!
“I travel to Shanghai five or six times a year for my business interests.” Mr Medway said.
“The Chinese people are wonderful to work with. They are very modest, very obliging and their culture is fascinating. It has been a very enjoyable learning curve.”
Mr Medway said he based the book on his own experiences and that it is basically a step by step guide to open a small to medium enterprise (SME) in China.
“I believe that Shanghai is becoming the new Hong Kong.” Mr Medway said.
“Operating a SME in China, I believe is a great way to drought proof our town.”
Mr Medway will launch his book at Young Library on Friday, February 1, commencing at 11 am.
