The year’s first rehearsal will be held on Monday, February 4, in the Young Uniting Church Hall, from 7.30pm.
Anyone who is new to the district – or a long-time resident – and loves singing, is being urged to join the choir.
The choir is non-auditioned adult-age community choir that meets on Monday evenings during school term time from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
The group’s conductor Rodney Clancy travels from Canberra to the area every week to inspire and challenge the members with a variety of music, including Broadway, movie, classical and spiritual pieces.
Well-known Harden resident Stewart Bruce is the choir’s accompanist.
Singers have joined from Cootamundra, Young, Grenfell and Harden.
If transport is an issue, there are plenty of members who car pool.
For further information about the group, contact the choir’s secretary Tracey Clark on 0418 672 622.
