Many vehicles qualify to take part including classic trucks and tractors, working trucks, buses, fire engines, military vehicles, stationary engines, classic cars and there are plans for many stalls at the venue.

AUSTRALIA Day celebrations will be held this Saturday, January 26.
This year Hilltops welcomes three ambassadors to take part in Australia Day celebrations.
These are Paralympian and gold medallist Lindy Hou (Young), Olympian, adventurer and entrepreneur Ed Fernon (Harden) and co-founder of Endometriosis Australia, Donna Cicca (Boorowa).
- Harden: At Harden-Murrumburrah Australia Day celebrations centre on Newson Park from 8am with breakfast, entertainment and the official ceremony.
- Boorowa: Will be held at Boorowa Recreation Park from 8am. A packed schedule has been arranged for the whole family, including breakfast, the official ceremony, award presentations and entertainment.
- Young: Australia Day celebrations in Young will take place at Carrington Park from 8am to 11am. There will be a breakfast barbecue, entertainment and the official Australia Day Ceremony. Come along and join in the fun.
- Wombat: The Wombat village always has a dynamic celebration including a midday parade, tractor pull and presentations. There is also an art exhibition at Wombat Hall from 10am to 2pm with Devonshire teas served.
- Koorawatha: It is expected to be relaxing and cool at the Koorawatha Hotel where there will be live music with Kenny Chalker from 2pm to 7pm.

TAKE 5 on Friday is soon to make a return to the Hilltops Library Young Branch, with the first concert of the series set to start on February 8.
The 2019 series opens with local poet Jim Lamb and everyone is welcome to attend. Bring your cool drink, coffee, lunch and friends.
The concert will be held from 12.30pm to 1pm and is free.

ENTRIES are open for the Young Dressage Association’s first official competition for 2019. The event will be held on February 17 at the dressage grounds in Bendick Murrell.
