One was taken to Canberra Hospital and the other was taken to Yass Hospital.
Both were in a stable condition, however, the 40-year-old male involved was believed to have a minor head bleed, a possible fractured arm and was in a slight state of shock.
The accident involved a head on collision on a sweeping, right-hand bend, according to reports from emergency services.
One car crashed into a guard rail and hit a car in oncoming traffic as a result.
Police and paramedics were alerted to the accident by multiple phone calls, around 11.15am.
There was some oil on the road, which was being cleaned up by emergency services earlier in the day.
Drivers are reminded to reduce their speed to 40km/h when passing emergency vehicles with flashing lights.
