Team Rickshaw, made up of Mayu, Suzuki, Atsu and Riku, are four young people fulfilling a dream to take Japanese culture around the world in the traditional Japanese method – by rickshaw.
“We have already travelled from Tokyo to China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, India, Spain and France.” team spokesman Suzuki said.
“We arrived in Sydney and It is our dream to travel to Melbourne in time for Christmas. We will be Japanese Santas!”
The team, who all work together in Tokyo and range in age from 22 to 27, hope to complete their journey around the world in two years.
They have promised to send The Harden Express updates on their travels.
