Harden hosted its pool of Tumut and Cootamundra and a massive 94 players hit the course in pairs of men’s, ladies, mixed and juniors in the 4BBB stableford format. Harden being the home club, brought players out of the woodwork and put an enormous field of 20 pairs out, boosting our eight team average chances massively.

Heading into the next round in February 2019, Harden holds almost a 2.2 lead before entering the visiting and travel points phase where we need to send well more than our minimum eight pairings to achieve higher averages chances and claim the bonus points.
It’s a commanding lead but the shield does run over three rounds, and we are not home yet.
