“It is taking a bit of getting used to.” Ms Solah said. “I sometimes forget and think it is just tied back in a ponytail. At least I will be able to go swimming this summer without being choked by hair.”
The total sum raised and donated to Can Assist was $3086, a fantastic amount that will be put to good use.
Ms Solah said she would like to thank the Harden businesses that sponsored her fundraising efforts.
Harden Pharmacy donated a gift basket that was auctioned and won by Maddie Douglas. They also donated a beautiful candle, which was won by Ashley Solah.
South West Fuel Centre donated a fuel voucher and Cooper’s Butchery donated a $50 meat voucher.
Ms Solah had hoped to donate the ponytail, but was unable to. All that hair binned; a tragedy mourned by many a follically challenged male in town, I am sure.
