This workshop is designed for adults and caters for beginners through to experienced artists. It will run from 10 am to 2 pm on Friday, September 28.
The workshops will be lead by Hilltops artist Young Till. Artists attending will learn about traditional Korean folk art and then paint a traditional Korean design using watercolours.
Dancheong is the traditional decorative colouring; the meanings relative to the days of the week. Sunday means sun, Monday means moon. The other five days are represented by colours; Tuesday red; Wednesday black; Thursday blue or green; Friday white; Saturday yellow.
Design templates will be available for beginners. All equipment will be provided. Tea and coffee are available.
