The Variety community has changed the lives of thousands of Australian children with special needs for over forty years. They help children with their mobility, by providing wheelchairs, walking aids and modified vehicles. They provide rare and expensive medical equipment and sercices including insulin pumps, oxygen pumps, and many more. Donations of hair, like Brad’s are made into specialised wigs for those suffering hair loss due to conditions like alopecia, or treatments like chemotherapy.
“I thought I would do it to help kids suffering from illness.” Brad said. “I thought it would also be a fun way to raise money.”
Brad raised $900 from his haircut, donated by the students, teachers and parents from MHS.
