Terry Ricketts, David Walker and Ged Davis defeated Graham Murray, Tony Zervos and Matthew Stadtmiller 20 to 19.
A very good match, with all players in good form. After six ends the scores were level at six all. The next two ends saw Terry lead by eight shots making the score 14 to 6, when he picked up two fours.
Graham and his team won the next four ends to trail by two shots at 14 to 12.
The next seven ends, Terry and his team scored six shots to Graham’s team’s four shots to lead 20 to 16 with two ends to play.
Graham and team needed four shots to tie and five shots to win. On these two ends, they were able to pick up three shots to go down narrowly by the one shot.

Matt Peisley, Jake Fisher and Terry Hocking v Tony Fisher, Reuben Rycroft and Maurice Muller.
Brian Gibson, Barney Heywood and Dick Walsh v John Curtis, Warwick Prosser and John Brownhill.
Terry Ricketts, David Walker and Ged Davis v Chris Hocking, Jesse James and John Balcomb.
Zone 8 Club Champion of Champion Singles
Terry Ricketts will travel ti the Wagga Rules Club on Saturday to play in this prestigious event, against Peter Jones of the Wagga Rules Club.
The result of this match will determine whether Terry will be able to play in his Triples match on Sunday.
Ladies Bowls
Robyn Apps, Chris Hancock and Ann Larsen travelled to Gundagai last Tuesday to play in their Triples tournament. They played well for a narrow loss and a win, but not good enough for any prizes.
The Ladies have the sheets for entry in the Singles and Pairs up on the notice board. Entry will close on Friday, September 14.
Meeting
The men will hold their bowls meeting on Monday August 27th at 7 pm.
