President Margaret Thornhill said the stall raised over $1 200.00 and was very well supported by community members.
“The community were very generous in both donating items for us to sell, and purchasing the delicious cakes and slices on offer.” Mrs Thornhill said.
“There were also some generous cash donations, for which we were very grateful.”
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the CWA members who baked goodies and manned the stall. Without them, we would not be able to achieve this success.” Mrs Thornhill said.
The CWA is still collecting for the Drought Relief Fund, dry goods and other donations can be dropped off to Deidre Farrell at 9 Bundarbo Street, Harden. You can contact De on 0418 644 108.
The CWA’s next stall will be at the Murrumburrah Harden Spring Show on Saturday, September 8.
