Ben Glover once again proving his dominance of Harden Golf, his results for the four rounds being solid enough to secure the Club Championship by an impressive 14 shots over his nearest rival.
This secures a decade of dominance by Ben as top golfer at the club and his four rounds averaging just short of 76 strokes per round for a 303 aggregate.
In B Grade, Peter Steinke has locked in the result after Saturday saw his opposition fall away. Peter’s consistency was rewarded with a win by 11 shots over his nearest rival The C Grade crown went to Michael Baldry who claimed his title by nine shots over his nearest rival after a solid fourth round.
Our Veterans Champion for 2018 went to Darrell Cassidy, whilst our Junior Champion was Jack Glover.
Our best Nett over the four rounds, known as the McLean Gold Cup went to Darrell Cassidy with a 69 nett average each round (two under his handicap, eight under his handicap over the four rounds).
The major silverware will be presented at our end of year get together, however find our champions around the club, shake their hand and say “well done”.
- THIS WEEK: Ladies, August Monthly Medal on Saturday, for Alexa Preston’s Trophy. Men, playing for Nathan Schofield’s Trophy in an Individual Stableford. Dempster Cup Matchplay semis to be played this weekend also. The Bendigo Bank Hole in One will be in operation on Saturday.
